History

Hands Helping Hands Ministry was started by Evangelist Dianne Miller in August 2012 as a ministry that gives away food and clothing to anyone in need.

In August 2012, God sent her to extend the ministry over the WHIP Radio Station on Sunday mornings. In 2016, God opened the door for the ministry to begin a Noon Day Bible Study on Tuesdays at the Winnie Hooper Center (221 S. Sherrill St, Mooresville NC), as well as an annual Turkey Dinner Giveaway for families at Thanksgiving.

Each year the ministry, with the support of community partners, has been able to bless more and more families.  In 2016, we gave out 55 Turkey Dinners, 65 in 2017 and 100 in 2018! To God be all the glory! 

As of 2024 we are giving out 200 Turkey Dinners to families as well as weekly food giveaways where we give away over 60 boxes. We also assist with outreach in Greensboro, Kannapolis, Salisbury, in addition to the Mooresville and surrounding areas.

Over the years, God continues to send helpers to carry out the vision of helping others with food, clothing, shelter and the Word of God! We continue to be a blessing to all we can help, in any way we can!
